This page lists the axes that can be equipped in the game. Each axe has it's own unique stats that dictate the playstyle of the wielder. Shorter axes tend to have very fast attack rates and lower stamina costs, while 2handed axes have greater reach and larger damage capabilites. They normally boast higher damage and shorter reach than other weapon types, and often have a weak stab. All axes do swing/blunt damage instead of pure-swing damage, giving them a bit more punch against heavy-armor classes. However most axes do not have good reach to stab enemies and you have to use swing and overhead to maximize the use of these weapons.
